World Youth Day has been called by Cardinal Pell of Sydney one of the most important initiatives begun by John Paul the Great. It is a reflection of the vibrancy the youth are bringing to the Church from every corner of the earth.

John Paul II called Australia a natural cathedral given the beauty of the country under the constellation of the Southern Cross. Our pilgrimages will use this 'cathedral' to contemplate the most important things in life as we make our way to Sydney. Sydney offers a supurb location for the youth of the world to encounter our Holy Father, Benedict XVI.

At this moment, there are a few dates still available for groups. There are no seats just prior to or just after WYD, so if your group is flexible, we may still be able to send you to WYD.
Meals: Three meals per day will be provided by Days in the Diocese. World Youth Day will provide all meals except dinner on July 20th if you have simple accommodations. If you have budget or hotel lodging, breakfast will be provided by your place of lodging and all other meals by WYD except dinner on July 20th.
Transportation: Your WYD registration will include Sydney public tranportation on the trains, buses and ferries from July 14th through the 21st. If you group is Sydney prior to or after these dates, transportation will be available at a small cost.

Guides: Some groups have chosen to have a pilgrimage guide present from arrival to departure while others have chosen only airport assistance. Your group may choose either. If your group chooses a pre or post WYD pilgrimage, a tour guide will be with your group during that time.
